Training Overview
Workplace fires resulting from hot work activities are preventable. The use of adequately trained fire watchers is one of the control measures recommended to prevent workplace fires during and after hot work activities. Advanced EHS Concepts Limited Workplace Fire Watch course focuses on the roles and responsibilities of a fire watcher. Trainees will also gain knowledge in work permits, hazard identification, firefighting equipment, and emergency response.

Completion Requirements: Assessment Final Exam
Prerequisites: None required
Completion Requirements: Participants will be required to undertake a written quiz with a pass mark of 75%. Should a participant encounter challenges to meet these Learning Outcomes, we will provide additional coaching as an opportunity to meet those requirements.
Refresher Training & Certification Validity Period: No expiration date is indicated on this certificate. Refresher training is recommended at intervals not greater than 3 years.
